当接触闪光灯或光带时（如打游戏或看录像），一小部分人可能会容易暂时失去意识或发生痉挛（即使类似病症从未在他们身上发生）。若您已经经历过这种暂时性失去意识或痉挛，或有家庭成员曾经历过，您应该在玩电子游戏或看录像前咨询医生。若您发生头痛、暂时性失去意识、痉挛、惊厥、眼睛或肌肉颤搐、失去意识、不自主运动或迷失方向等情况，请立即中断使用BrainLink并就医。为了降低头痛、暂时性失去意识、痉挛与视疲劳风险，以及避免长时间使用，请在光照充分的地方使用BrainLink，不能太靠近眼睛，并且应当时不时进行休息。

当您进行重复性活动，例如用智能设备玩游戏时，您的双手、手臂、肩部、脖子或身体的其它部位可能会偶尔发生不适。请避免过度使用。建议家长对儿童进行监督，注意娱乐的适当性。请注意经常休息；若在使用过程中或使用后发生不适，请立即停止使用并就医。

BrainLink的电极传感器是由金属材质制造，极少一部分人的肌肤体质是对金属过敏。如果您属于金属过敏体质人群，请停止使用BrainLink。若在使用过程中发生皮肤过敏情况，肌肤变痒或出现红肿时，请立即停止使用并就医。

请在温度为0℃到30℃（32℉到90℉）之间的地方操作与存放BrainLink。低温或高温状况可能会暂时性缩短电池寿命或导致BrainLink暂时无法适当工作。在车中使用BrainLink时，请避免温度或湿度发生剧烈变化，因为停放的车辆内部温度可能会超过该范围。当使用BrainLink或充电时，BrainLink发热是正常现象。

BrainLink不适合4岁以下的儿童使用。

请勿过度弯折、摔落、浸泡、刺穿、点燃或踩踏BrainLink，否则会损坏设备，无法确保设备的安全运行。

请定期检查BrainLink是否存在潜在危险，比如部件是否破裂、损坏或折断。若发现危险，请在替换或修理后再使用。

锂聚合物电池非常危险，容易对人或财产造成严重损害。使用者必须自行承担使用锂聚合物电池的责任。厂商与经销商无法确保电池可以得到正确使用（充电、放电、储存等），因此，对于电池可能会对人或财产造成的损害，他们无需承担任何责任。
若电池发生漏液，请避免液体接触到皮肤与眼睛。若接触到皮肤，请用肥皂与水充分清洗干净。若接触到眼睛，请用大量凉水进行冲洗，并就医。若发现可疑气味或声音，或看到充电器附近冒烟，请立即断开电源。
不遵守以下指示可能会导致毒气泄漏、火灾、触电或爆炸。

使用5V--1A的充电器（由用户自行提供）进行充电。

定期检查充电器，看电线、插头、外壳或其它部件是否损坏。

将BrainLink以及电池丢弃在一般家庭垃圾箱中可能会危害环境。必须将被损坏或不能用的电池放入为此专门预留的容器中。处理电池时必须遵守适当的地方法规与指示。若想获知更多信息，可联系当地的固体废物处理机构。

对原始购买者的有限质保BrainLink产品由宏智力科技公司供应与经销，交给原始客户购买者时有原箱包装。有关材料与工艺的制造缺陷，宏智力科技公司保修180天（6个月）。

若在以上所规定的有效保修时间范围内发现缺陷，宏智力科技公司将自行选择采用新部件或已检修的部件对产品进行免费修理或更换。

请联系service @ macrotellect.com或400-860-2689索取退货授权（RMA）申请号。请在发货时务必提供该申请号，否则，我们不接受退货。购买者必须承担所有运费。

BrainLink的使用必须遵守www.macrotellect.com/about/service网站上的宏智力科技软件许可协议。

只有对BrainLink按照预期用途进行正常使用时才可纳入保修范围，保修也仅适用于由宏智力科技公司制造的硬件产品“BrainLink”，必须附有“BrainLink”商标、商品名称或形象标识。有限质保不适用于任何非宏智力科技生产的硬件产品或软件，即使是与BrainLink硬件产品一起包装或售出的产品也不例外。关于使用方面的权利，您可以参考软件附带的软件许可协议来获知详情。

除了以上所述的担保之外，没有任何其它明确担保。所有明确或隐含担保——包括但不限于有关适销性或特殊用途适用性之隐含担保以及有关隐藏或潜在缺陷的担保——在以上所规定的明确担保期之后均不适用。由任何个人、事务所或公司做出的有关该产品的其它任何明确担保或保证对宏智力科技均不具有约束力。除了本担保所规定的内容以及法律所允许的最大程度，宏智力科技对任何收益或利润损失、未能实现成本节约或其它利益、机会流失、商誉损失、名声损失、数据破解或损坏而造成的损失与损害，或其它任何由使用、误用或未能使用本产品而造成的特殊、偶发或间接损害，或无视索赔所基于的法律理论而违反任何担保条款或条件概不负责，即使宏智力科技在事先已被告知损害之可能性也不例外。任何一种针对宏智力科技的索赔均不得超过BrainLink的购买价格。在不限制上述条款的前提下，购买者需要自行承担由使用、误用或未能使用由宏智力科技所售产品而对其自身及其财产以及他人及其财产造成损失、损害或损伤的风险与责任，直接由宏智力科技公司的重大过失造成的风险与责任除外。本有限质保仅适用于本产品的原始购买者，不应延伸或转让给其他任何人，并陈述了用户的专属补救条款。

This Important Product Information Guide contains safety, handling, disposal and recycling, regulatory, the limited warranty for both BrainLink Pro and Lite(Referred to “BrainLink” in following contents).

Read the following warning before you or your child play with the BrainLink. Failing to do so may cause injury.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of damage or injury, do not attempt to disassemble BrainLink. No user-serviceable parts are contained inside.

Read all safety and operating instructions before operating BrainLink.。

Retain the safety and operating instructions for future reference.

Follow all operating and use instructions.

Do not attempt to service BrainLink yourself. Refer all non-routine servicing to Macrotellect.

A small percentage of people may be susceptible to blackouts or seizures (even if they have never had one before ) when exposed to flashing lights or light patterns such as when playing games or watching video. If you have experienced seizures or blackouts or have a family history of such occurrences, you should consult a physician before playing video games or watching videos. Discontinue use of BrainLink and consult a physician if you experience headaches, blackouts, seizures, convulsion, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, involuntary movement, or disorientation. To reduce risk of headaches, blackouts, seizures and eyestrain, avoid prolonged use, hold your smart device some distance from your eyes, use BrainLink in a well-lit room, and take frequent breaks.

When you perform repetitive activities such as playing games on your smart device, you may experience occasional discomfort in your hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of your body. Avoid excessive play. It is recommended that parents monitor their children for appropriate play. Take frequent breaks and if you have discomfort during or after such use, stop use and see a physician.

BrainLink's electrode sensors are made of metal material, very few people's skin and body is allergic to metal. If you are allergic to metal, please stop using BrainLink. If there is a skin allergy happened during the usage(the skin becomes itchy or rashes), please stop using BrainLink immediately and consult a doctor.

Operate and store BrainLink in a place where the temperature is between 0º and 30º C (32º to 90º F). Low or high temperature conditions might temporarily shorten battery life or cause BrainLink to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity when using BrainLink in your car, because temperatures in parked cars can exceed this range. When you're using BrainLink or charging the battery, it is normal for BrainLink to get warm.

BrainLink is not suitable for use by children under 13 years of age.

Abuse ,throw, drop, soak, burn, puncture, violently kick or step on BrainLink. This can damage the robot and compromise its safe operation.

Periodically examine BrainLink for potential hazards such as cracked, damaged or otherwise broken parts. In the event of such damage, do not use BrainLink until it can be replaced or repaired.

•Lithium Puse serious injuries to persons or property. The user accepts liability for the use of a Lithium Polymer battery. As the manufacturer and the distributor cannot ensure the battery is used correctly (charging, discharging, storage, etc.), they cannot be held liable for damages caused to persons or property.
•In the event of battery leakage, avoid the liquid coming into contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with the skin, wash copiously with soap and water. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse copiously with cold water and consult a doctor. If you notice a suspicious smell or noise or observe smoke around the charger, disconnect it immediately.
•Non-compliance with the instructions below could result in gas being given off, fire, electric shock or an explosion.

Always use a 5V--1A charger(not provided in package).

Examine the charger regularly for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure or other parts. Never use a damaged charger.

Never charge a leaky battery or one which has been damaged.

Do not overcharge the battery. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect it from the charger.

Do not charge the battery near inflammable materials or an inflammable surface (carpet, wooden flooring, wooden furniture, etc.) or conducting surface. Do not leave BrainLink unattended during charging.

Never charge the device immediately after use while it is still hot. Let it cool down to room temperature.

Batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Do not cover your product while the battery is charging.

Recharge the battery at a temperature of between 0 and 30(32 to 90F).

Do not use the BrainLink if the cover has been broken and the battery’s plastic cover has been cracked or compromised in any way.

Do not expose the battery to excessive physical shock.

Do not expose BrainLink and its battery to heat or dispose of a fire.

Do not put the battery in a microwave oven or in a pressurized container.

Do not attempt to dismantle, pierce, distort or cut the battery and do not attempt to repair the battery. Do not place any heavy objects on BrainLink or the battery.

It is essential to avoid short circuits. Avoid direct contact with the electrolyte contained within the battery. The electrolyte and electrolysis vapors are harmful to health.

Do not subject BrainLink and its battery to large temperature variations. Do not place your BrainLink near a source of heat.

Discarding BrainLink and its batteries in your general household waste can be harmful to the environment. Damaged or unusable batteries must be disposed of in a container specially reserved for this purpose. When disposing of the battery, follow appropriate local guidelines and regulations. For further information contact your local solid waste authority.

Limited Warranty to Original PurchaserThis BrainLink product, as supplied and distributed by Macrotellect, Inc., and delivered new, in the original carton to the original customer purchaser, is warranted by Macrotellect, Inc. against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 180 days or 6 months.

Macrotellect will repair or replace this product, at our option and at no charge with new or reconditioned parts, if found to be defective during the limited warranty period specified above.

Please contact us at service@macrotellect.com to be provided with a Return Material Authorization Request (RMA) number. Provide this number with your package when shipping. We do not accept returns without the RMA number. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs.

Use of BrainLink is subject to the Macrotellect Software License Agreement found at: www.macrotellect.com.

This warranty covers the normal and intended use of BrainLink. It applies only to the hardware product "BrainLink" manufactured by or for Macrotellect, Inc. that can be identified by the "BrainLink" trademark, trade name or logo affixed to it. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Macrotellect hardware product or any software, even if packaged or sold with the BrainLink hardware product. Refer to the software license agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use.

Macrotellect does not warrant that the operation of BrainLink will be uninterrupted or error-free. Macrotellect is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to BrainLink's use. This warranty does not apply to: (a) consumable parts, such as batteries, or protective coating designed to diminish over time unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials and workmanship; (b) damage caused by use with non-BrainLink products; (c) damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature; incorrect electrical line voltage, fluctuations or surges; damage caused by improper installation; product alteration or modification; improper or unauthorized repair; exterior finish or cosmetic damage; (d) damage caused by operating BrainLink outside the intended uses described by Macrotellect; (e) defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the BrainLink product.

THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE LISTED AND DESCRIBED ABOVE, AND NO WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS, SHALL APPLY AFTER THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE, AND NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE GIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT SHALL BE BINDING ON MACROTELLECT.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBOTIX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, FAILURE TO REALIZE SAVINGS OR OTHER BENEFITS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF REPUTATION, LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, OR ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND EVEN IF ORBOTIX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOR SHALL RECOVERY OF ANY KIND AGAINST MACROTELLECT BE GREATER IN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF BrainLink. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, PURCHASER ASSUMES ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY TO PURCHASER AND PURCHASER’S PROPERTY AND TO OTHERS AND THEIR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT SOLD BY MACROTELLECT NOT CAUSED DIRECTLY BY THE GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF MACROTELLECT. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT, IS NONTRANSFERABLE AND STATES YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.

Some area do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide the application of the law of another jurisdiction. Any claim or dispute in connection with this Limited Warranty shall be resolved in a cost effective manner through binding non-appearance-based arbitration. The arbitration shall be initiated through an established alternative dispute resolution provider mutually agreed upon by the parties. The alternative dispute resolution provider and the parties must comply with the following rules: a) the arbitration shall be conducted by telephone, online and/or be solely based on written submissions, the specific manner shall be chosen by the party initiating the arbitration; b) the arbitration shall not involve any personal appearance by the parties or witnesses unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties; and c) any judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If the foregoing arbitration clause does not apply for any reason, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state courts located within Shenzhen courts in the District of Guangdong, PR China for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes, which courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction of such claims or disputes.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Macrotellect may seek injunctive or other equitable relief to protect its intellectual property rights in any court of competent jurisdiction.
